Welcome to Your New Practice

Dear Valued Patients and Future Friends,

It is with great pleasure to announce my new ownership of Darien Eye Care. I am truly honored to be transitioning alongside Mr. Woody Armstrong, his beloved wife, Mrs. Mary Armstrong, and of course, Bella Armstrong, who have spent over 12 years establishing this wonderful optometric and optical practice.

I am hopeful to make this transition as easy and positive as possible. My number one goal is to carry on Woody and Mary’s fine tradition of a warm, professional and personalized experience with everything relating to your vision and eye care needs. We have added additional insurance plans to ensure your families are cared for. I have had the pleasure of working with Christine over the last few weeks to ensure the care and service you rely on will continue without interruption.

Let me take a moment to tell you all about my family and I; I was born and raised in Southington, Connecticut and continued my undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut. I met my husband at UCONN almost 11 years ago and we are now new parents of our 6 month old daughter. My husband is a practicing dentist at Darien Family Dental just down the road from here and my daughter is babbling and starting to sit up on her own. I obtained my Doctorate at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA and completed my clinical training at various community health centers as well as the Veterans Hospital in Worcester, MA and West Haven, CT. In my spare time, I enjoy running, traveling, cooking and spending time with my family.

You can count on me to provide the welcoming and comfortable environment you are all familiar with at Darien Eye Care. You will continue to enjoy and embrace yourselves in the best vision care. I am thrilled to join this great practice and am looking forward to getting to know you and your families.
